The Hasselblad product you are using is designed and produced to a high standard, to meet your needs. Reasonable use and appropriate maintenance will extend the life of your Hasselblad device.

Please save your purchase receipt and the relevant vouchers of your Hasselblad product, as the important proof for the aftersales services.

Return Policy

We will gladly provide returns for any of the following circumstances that occur within 14 calendar days of when you receive your product:

a、     The product has any manufacturing defects or fails to function.
b、     Unpacked and unused product.

Unfortunately Hasselblad cannot provide return services for any of the following reasons:

a、     The request for return has been submitted more than 14 days from the date of when the product is received.
b、     The returned product we receive is not in its original packaging or the original packaging, accessories, presents, instructions for use, etc. are not present/complete.
c、     Hasselblad identifies, through inspection or testing, that the manufacturing defect(s) or functional problems have been caused by man-made factors or there are no quality problems in the product.
d、     No original proof of purchase is provided, or the proof of purchase is forged or altered.

Replacement Policy

We will gladly provide you with a replacement under any of the following circumstances that occur within 15 days from when you receive your product:

a、     The product has any manufacturing defects or fails to function.
b、     The product has been damaged during transportation and has been rejected on delivery, and a certificate of loss has been issued by the logistics company.
c、     The wrong product is received.

Hasselblad is not able to provide a replacement if any of the following occurs:

a、     The request for replacement is submitted beyond 15 days from the date of when the product is received.
b、     The returned product we receive is not in its original packaging or the original packaging, accessories, presents, instructions for use, etc. are not present/complete.
c、     Hasselblad identifies, through inspection or testing, that the factory defect(s) or functional problems are caused by man-made factors or there are no quality problems in the product.
d、     No original proof of purchase is provided, or the proof of purchase is forged or altered.
e、     The product is found damaged during transportation, but it has not been rejected on delivery, or no certificate of loss issued by the logistics company is provided.
f、     The accessories are found incomplete, but you fail to contact Hasselblad after receiving the product.

Warranty Policy

Hasselblad will gladly repair or replace your product if we identify, through inspection, that your product fails due to poor materials, workmanship, or any other causes, aside from collision, water damage, or unauthorized disassembly of the product.
Different series of products have different durations for their warranties. You can find the relevant details in the Warranty Duration Form.

Hasselblad is unable to provide free warranty service for your product if any of the following circumstances exist:
a、     The damage is caused by scratches or unauthorized cleaning and polishing.
b、     The damage is resulted from accidents, dampness, dirt, sand, water, battery leakage, tampering, or services performed by unauthorized persons or third-party equipment.
c、     Preventive maintenance has not been performed on the scanners according to the warning messages prompted by FlexColor.
d、     The product is found damaged during transportation, but it is not rejected on delivery or no certificate of loss issued by the logistics company is provided.
e、     The failure is caused by Force Majeure, including natural disasters, abnormal voltages, and/or other external reasons.
f、     The damage is caused by failure to correctly fit, use, and operate the product according to the product instructions.
g、     The product serial number is torn up or altered.
h、     No valid original proof of purchase is provided.

Return for any Reason for purchase through Hasselblad Online Store

In the EU, if the product you purchase is from a Hasselblad official online store, we will gladly accept returns for any reason within 14 calendar days from the date of when the product is received.
For products that have already been opened, we accept returns for any reason by charging 20% of the purchase price as a handling fee (however, the fee will be no less than 50 euros).

Note: For refund applications due to reasons irrelevant to product quality, we will need to deduct the corresponding logistics cost and handling fees from the original order amount.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return a product for any reason, at any time, within 14 calendar days from the date the product is received. In order to do so, please clearly state to us that you are returning a product or canceling an order, via email, to us at: onlinestore@hasselblad.com, along with the template form (filled in) found at the end of this document.
After you have notified us of your cancellation, please return the product, original receipt, and original packaging to our offices within 14 calendar days. Once your return product has been received, or in the event you deliver the product to a carrier, and we will verify that your product has been received, then we will issue your refund, via the original payment method within 7 business days. Please be aware that services may not be refunded unless there is a defect in the service, and once service has begun with your consent, you will be unable to withdraw after the service has been completed. In the event services have not been completed and you request services to begin within 14 days, you will be charged for services rendered, until such time that you cancel the service contract. In the event the product is damaged we may deduct the lost value of the product from your refund before issuing the refund.
We will refund all costs associated with the product, excepting delivery costs.

Limitation of Liability

When receiving service, Hasselblad is responsible for loss or damage to your product only while it is in Hasselblad’s possession or in transit, if Hasselblad is responsible for transportation.
Hasselblad is NOT responsible for loss or disclosure of any data, including confidential information, proprietary information, or personal information, contained in a product.
Under no circumstances, and notwithstanding the failure of essential purpose of any remedy set forth herein, shall Hasselblad, its affiliates, suppliers, resellers, or service providers be liable for any of the following even if informed of their possibility and regardless of whether the claim is based in contract, warranty, negligence, strict liability or other theory of liability:1) third party claims against you for damages; 2) loss, damage or disclosure of your data; 3) special, incidental, punitive, indirect or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, business revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings. In no case shall the total liability of Hasselblad, its affiliates, suppliers, resellers, or service providers for damages from any cause exceed the amount of actual direct damages, not to exceed the amount paid for the product.
The foregoing limitation does not apply to damages for bodily injury (including death), damage to real property or damage to tangible personal property for which Hasselblad is liable under law.
As some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Other Precautions

1、     Failure to raise a request within the aforementioned period shall be deemed as a waiver of the rights and rejection to return/replace the product, unless you can fully prove that you are not able to raise the request within the given period due to certain restrictions, and we are able to accept your reason.
2、     If you need to repair your product or use other services, please to contact the Hasselblad Partner who originally delivered the product. Failure to comply with this can lead to charges for shipping and/or repair.
3、     We support repair services at Hasselblad maintenance centers in the designated areas of the country/region where you have purchased the product. If you take your camera to the maintenance center in another country for repair, you will need to bear the full amount of the repair cost.
4、     We support the return or replacement of products only in the original country or region of purchase.
5、     Hasselblad shall not be held liable for property or time losses (including the shooting fees and the anticipated earnings) arising from failure of the products.
6、     Where any of the original accessories of products returned to Hasselblad for replacement is missing (except for those that are immediately lost upon unpacking), we shall be entitled to reject your replacement request, or charge at least 500 euros (as the case may be) as the handling fee (which can be exempted if you can provide the missing accessories).
7、     The above service policy provides you with extra and specific legal rights. You may have other rights according to the applicable laws of your state or jurisdiction. You may also have other rights under a written agreement with Hasselblad. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights, including rights of consumers under laws or regulations governing the sale of consumer products that cannot be waived or limited by agreement.
